Create a Cloudflare Account
- Navigate to Cloudflare’s website and sign up.
- Complete the registration process.
- Verify your email to activate the account.
Add Your Website
- Log in and click “Add a Site.”
- Enter your domain name and let Cloudflare scan your DNS records.
- Confirm the DNS configurations are correct.
Update Nameservers
- Cloudflare will provide new nameservers.
- Access your domain registrar’s site and update the DNS settings. If your domain is with Halls Hosting click here to update the nameservers.
- Save the new nameserver details.
Adjust DNS Settings in Cloudflare
- Return to the Cloudflare dashboard and select the “DNS” tab.
- Ensure the DNS records align with your site’s setup.
- Make and save any necessary adjustments.
Confirm Cloudflare is Active
Allow up to 24 hours for DNS changes to take effect.
Check your site or use DNS lookup tools to ensure Cloudflare’s nameservers are in use.
